What is included

• Your story, written from the answers and memories you give us.
• The paintings, made from your photos and checked by a person against them.
• A proof of the cover and several pages before you pay anything.
• Two rounds of changes to the proof.
• Printing and posting of your finished hardcover.

Shipping

Shipping is added for where the book is going. These are the rates in euros; in pounds or dollars the amount is converted and shown to you before you pay.

Other countries: write to us at hello@mattandmilly.com and we will tell you whether we can send there and what it would cost.

When you pay

Only after you have seen your proof and love it. You fill in a short form about your friend, we write and paint the book, and we send you the proof. When you approve it, we send you a secure link to pay, and then we print and post it. There is no deposit and no hidden extra.

How long it takes

• Your proof: about a week after we receive your answers and photos. Changes usually take a few days, and you can ask for them twice.
• Printing and delivery start when you approve your proof and pay: usually 10 to 14 working days to France and the UK, 10 to 15 to the rest of the EU, and 14 to 18 to the United States. These are estimates, not guarantees.
• For Christmas: start your book by 15 November and approve your proof by 30 November (25 November for the United States).
