Stories for the ones we love, and the ones we miss.
A book about your friend, told so it sounds like them and looks like them. Not a generic story. A memory.
A hardcover book about your friend, told the way only you remember them: the walks, the habits, the noises, the favourite spot by the fire. For the one curled up beside you now, and for the one you still miss.

A book of the one I love
A celebration of the friend who shares your life right now. Their quirks, their adventures, the things that make them unmistakably theirs.

Make a remembrance book
It started with Milly
Milly was our dog, but she was my friend. We grew up together: she was a puppy when I was young, and we were best friends from then on. She would play any game, rain or shine, and when the playing was done she would sit with you by the fire. She snored in her sleep, and her legs twitched as she ran in her dreams.
I'm Matt, and Matt & Milly began with her. Every book we make is for a friend like her: someone who is more than a pet to the person who loves them.
How it works
You tell us about them. We do the rest, and nothing is printed until you are happy.
Tell us about them
Send one to three clear photos and a few sentences: their name, what you do together, what makes them special.
We write their story
A story true to their character, with scenes painted in watercolour from your photos.
See your proof
We send the cover and some pages. You can ask for changes, twice, until it feels right.
We print and post it
Once you approve, your hardcover is printed and sent to your door.
What our first customers say

Jackie, about Munchkin's book

“The pictures brought tears to our eyes, you are certainly very gifted.”

In memoryQuestions
Will it really look like them?
That is what the proof is for. We work from your own photos, and you see the cover and several pages before anything is printed. If something is not right, tell us. You can ask for changes twice before the book is final.
How are the story and illustrations made?
We write the story from your answers, using an AI writing assistant to draft it, and a person edits it. The watercolour-style illustrations are created with AI image tools, guided and checked by a person against your photos. We would rather say so plainly. Nothing is printed until you approve it.
What do I need to send?
One to three clear, well-lit photos where the face and body are visible, and four or five sentences: their name and breed, what you do together, what makes them special. A funny habit and a favourite place help a lot.
What happens to my photos?
They are used, with your words, only to make your book. Within 30 days after your book has been delivered, we delete your photos and your original answers. We keep the finished book files for up to three years so that we can reprint your book, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. The details are in our privacy policy.
Can I make a book for a cat, a horse, a rabbit, a rat?
Yes. Any friend you love, whatever they are. Tell us about them and we will write their story.
